9. Osprey Manta 34
Manta series has been around for many years, and it has been also reshaped in the past when they included the so-called anti-gravity (AG) design in its suspension. But for the season 2019, they have reshaped the series again, and this Manta 34 is without the letters AG in the name and in this is not an AG pack by the design.
Note also that there is yet another pack in this series, the Manta 24. In the previous Manta AG series, there were 3 packs, so this is changed now.
So what you have here is a panel loading pack with 7-plus pockets and with a great trampoline style ventilated back panel. Note also that the torso length is adjustable now.
But this pack is also here because of its hydration features. So you have a Hydraulics LT 2.5 reservoir included. It is with a magnetic attachment to the sternum strap, see the picture.

14. Osprey Skarab 32
The Scarab 32 is truly a multipurpose pack for men, and the largest of the packs presented here. But this is still a relatively small pack suitable for any sort of daily adventures, like hiking, biking, and for urban use as a pack for commuters and for travel. It provides enough space for a light overnight adventure which would imply staying in an Alpine hut.
The design is simpler than in other Osprey’s much more expensive packs, but you still have enough of Osprey’s features in it. It is a great choice for those who do not want to spend too much regardless if it is for outdoor or urban use. This is a tool for occasional outdoor excursions, and in the meantime, you can use it for commuting and for any other urban purpose.
You might want to know that this is the largest in the series which includes also Skarab 18, and Skarab 24 packs.
Key features & Cons

- There is no rain cover.
- The torso length is not adjustable.
16. Teton Sports Oasis 1100
The Oasis 1100 Hydration Backpack is a very popular and versatile unisex daypack that has been on the market for many years now. The volume of this pack is 18 liters (if you are not familiar with cubic inches).
If you do not want to spend much and want a pack for occasional outdoor use, this is the pack for you. For such a purpose, I cannot imagine any pack on the market that can match the Oasis 1100. This is a beautifully built pack, with many useful features for its size. Note that the series includes also the Oasis 1200 pack (which is 20 liters of volume).
It is fair to say that there were some complaints by users, but this holds for almost any pack on the market.

- You will not find a pack that can match the price & feature combination of this pack.
- Separate zippered water bladder compartment.
- This is a pack with a rain cover included.

Summary
So after seeing my list with top rated hydration packs for 2019, the question is how to choose. In fact, it should not be so difficult.
- First, this is about packs for men or for women. The gender is pointed out in the descriptions. Some are unisex models.
- Second, if this is about price, then the Teton Sports Oasis 1100 is without a match. This is also a unisex pack, and the model with the included rain cover.
- Third, if you need something more specific for cyclists, then check the Raptor 10 for men and the Raven 14 for women, but also the Osprey Syncro 3 pack.
- Fourth, if you need a very versatile tool, then again this is the Teton Sports Oasis 1100, and also the Skarab 32 for men and Skimmer 30 for women.
- Fifth, you did not find a proper size among the models presented in the list? No problem, almost every pack here is a part of their corresponding series, so you will surely find something for you.
