1. Browning Camping Side-by-Side 0 Degree Double Sleeping Bag

Browning Camping Side-by-Side 0 Degree Double Sleeping Bag
Browning Camping Side-by-Side 0 Degree Double Sleeping Bag.

This is a product that can be described as a 5-in-1 system. As its name suggests you can use it as a double bag. But you can unzip two of its sides and use them as two single sleeping bags. Each of these two halves can be used as a blanket as well.

The bag is is strong, durable, and reliable, the shell fabric is a pleasant 210T polyester ripstop. The insulation is synthetic and its official temperature rating is 0 F (-18 C). There is no hood here, so it is best to add 5-10 degrees to what they give as official rating.

Note also that this is a heavy item, it weighs 12 lb 14 oz (5.84 kg), but no less than 140 oz (4 kg) of this weight is its insulation.

2. TETON Sports Evergreen Canvas Sleeping Bag

TETON Sports Evergreen Canvas Sleeping Bag
TETON Sports Evergreen Canvas Sleeping Bag.

I would start wit the weight of this TETON Sports Evergreen Canvas Sleeping Bag, so that you understand its position in the list. It weighs 12 lb (5.4 kg), but see also its dimensions that are 80 x 70 inches (203 x 178 cm). The fabric is a cotton canvas and flannel, and the insulation is synthetic.

This is a very affordable 6-in-1 versatile, pleasant, and warm bag. The meaning of this is that it can be used as a double-wide bag or as two separate single bags.

But note that also that its two sides are with two different ratings, +20 ˚F/ +40 ˚F (-7 ˚C/ 4 ˚C) and you can turn it and keep any of them as the upper side. You can also unzip it and use the two halves as blankets.

Final thoughts

So this was my selection of the best double sleeping bags for adults and I hope you realize how great products you have here. Some of them are with completely unique features, you have seen some that are 5-in-1 design, and you have even a zipper-less example in the list.

The bags provide a variety of options regarding the temperature rating. The weight and packed size of these bags make them more or less camping items, though a couple of them are light and compact enough to be carried on the trail.

This is a list that will be updated whenever I find something suitable and worth adding here. So bookmark this text and visit it occasionally, this will keep you informed. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
