What this Snow Peak Amenity Dome Medium Tent is about
So here you have two versions of the same design. The Snow Peak Amenity Dome Medium in brown color has been around for some time, and the ivory series has been launched specifically for the UK and the USA markets. There are no functional differences between the two series, the only difference is the color.
The word Medium in the name indicates the fact that there are also S and L versions of these tents. You have an inner freestanding dome tent shown in the picture below. Note that it us not completely symmetric, there is an extra pole on one side only. But this inner tent is with the same D-shaped doors on the opposite sides, one is visible below.
You have a full-coverage fly that is very asymmetric in the shape. There is a large vestibule on one side only, created by the fly and it is supported by one extra loop pole. There are 3 doors on the fly, the picture below shows two of them.
The true shape of this structure can be realized only when you see its floor plan shown below. So you can see that the vestibule is at an angle with respect to the main axis. The reason for this is because they wanted to make space for the extra door on the side, you can see it in the picture above. In this way, when needed, you can use the vestibule as a storage space and keep its flap closed, and use the side and the rear doors.
The third door on the rear side is with a simple inverted-T shaped central zipper and two flaps that can be fixed on the sides. But the vestibule space here is very small, you cannot store much here, perhaps shoes and boots only. But this is why the front vestibule is large, see the picture below, and the two doors make it very functional.
The front vestibule has two zippers on the sides, so you have a large flap that can be rolled above the door. You can also create an awning with the pair of extra poles that are not included. This configuration you can see in the top picture above.

Materials
The fabric: The fly is a 75D polyester with a PU coating and minimum 1800 mm waterproof rating. The outer surface is Teflon water repellent. The inner tent is a 68D polyester taffeta. The floor is bathtub style 210D polyester Oxford with the same waterproof rating as the fly.
The poles: You have a combination of 7001 and 6061 duralumin. The poles are color coded for easy and intuitive setup.
Ventilation
The inner tent is a breathable taffeta, but they have added a closable roof vent that matches a vent on the fly, see how it looks from inside:
There are no separate floor vents, but they have added a feature on the inner doors so that you can roll up the lover section and create floor vents on the two sides. The picture shows how this looks.
So there is nothing one could object to this design regarding ventilation. This video shows how to set the tent up, note this is Amenity Dome S but the features are the same:
Who is it for
Regarding the best use & climate, they describe it as a 3-season tent, but in my view this is a perfect 4-season tent. The inner tent is taffeta, and it is fully closable. But for worm weather you can use it with mesh doors and have as much ventilation as you need. When fully closed, you are fully protected in the inner tent, it is deep under the fly, see how this all looks:
The tent is low profile and aerodynamic, designed to perform well in windy places.
Regarding the size, the tent is officially for 4 people, and for this you have the inner floored area of 75.3 ft² (7 m²). This is almost the same as in their Snow Peak Alpha Breeze Tent.
The dimensions of the inner tent are such that it is possible to place 4 pads on the floor. The vestibule is huge, but they do not provide any information about its size so you can only guess.
Regarding the weight, the tent is heavy, and it is also a bit bulky when packed. But this is a true two-layer tent with durable materials and the fly is huge, so the weight and packed size are justified. The tent is designed for car camping.
