What this is about
Here you have an instant setup tent with all advantages and disadvantages of such a design. If you are not familiar with such a design, this means that the frame is preattached to the tent, it looks like an umbrella but with the frame outside, see the picture below. You can have this tent ready in under one minute, and one person can set it up with ease.
The good thing is that it is fully freestanding so you can set it up literally anywhere. You can move it around and rotate. But stakes and guylines are included and it is essential that you stake it properly.
Yet another good thing is that this is a tent with a dry setup. You can make it ready even in the rain, the fly is already preattached so the inner will remain dry all the time. This is not so in standard tents where you have a separate fly that you attach after you raise the inner tent with the frame.
The bad is that there are no vestibules, so there is no place for storage of your camping gear. However, look at this from a good side, this makes the access to the tent easier, you do not have to wrestle with the vestibule flaps all the time.
There are 2 doors here and both have a window on their upper sections. These windows are with mesh and with panels, for privacy and for protection. But the fly is supported by a short ridge pole that creates brims (awnings) on both sides, and this allows you to keep the windows with the mesh alone almost all the time.
The tent is quite low, the height is 49.2 inches (125 cm), but the inner ceiling is even lower. The picture below shows how elegant it looks in the camp.
Ventilation
This tent has plenty of mesh on the canopy and on the two windows (located on the doors). But they have added no less than 2 vents here, which is a pleasant surprise for such a relatively small tent. One is visible in the picture above.
So even if you have to keep the doors closed when it is raining, you can still have plenty of air circulation from the ground to the top.
There are no vents on the fly but with such brims on the front and on the back you do not need them. Vapor still has an almost free exit out. There is nothing one could object here.
Materials
The frame is all fiberglass, this is a bit heavy and not so durable material, but it is normal to have it in such a budget tent.
The fabric is a 190T PU coated polyester 210D with a 2000 mm waterproof rating. They claim it is with a good UV resistance as well, but this is something you cannot check.

Who is it for
Space-wise, the tent is with the declared capacity of 4 people and they describe it ‘spacious’. The dimensions shown below are such that you can put 4 sleeping pads on the floor, so this could work for a group of friends at some summer open-air festival and concert. Yet, this tent is everything but spacious for 4 users, you have only 13.4 ft² (1.25 m²) per person.
In the case of real camping, it is best suited for a couple, or for parents with one small kid. This assuming that you have a car nearby to keep the rest of your stuff because here you do not have any storage space.
Climate-wise & seasons-wise, they write this is a 3-season tent. No doubt you can use it in 3 seasons but this does not mean you will feel pleasant in it in all possible weather conditions. I see it as a tent for warm-weather summer camping, it is nicely ventilated and suitable for such a weather.
Weight-wise, with its 10.8 lb (4.9 kg) you could describe it as moderately light in particular in view of its instant design that includes more poles than ordinary tents. So in principle, you could carry it on a shorter tour, but I do not see it as a hiking tent. For such a purpose better check some of these best 4 person backpacking tents.
The packed size is not so great in the sense that it is a bit long when packed, this is because of its instant setup. As you realize this is the usual trade-off, easy setup in exchange for a long carry bag. So you need a car for transportation.
